Are you an entrepreneur? I’ve been there before and live there today. I have had big wins, painful failures, and have amassed a ton of experience from the school of hard knocks. I know where you’re stuck, and exactly how to help you go from where you are to where you want to be.
After 30 years as an entrepreneur, the lessons I’ve learned and connections I’ve made along the way allow me to help my students and clients grow faster than they ever thought possible and avoid costly mistakes in the process.
I’VE BEEN WHERE YOU ARE.

I work with
people who are...
I don’t work with people who are...
Coaching the Athlete
We are all familiar with coaches when it comes to sports and athletic teams. Over the course of my parenting years, I have coached 42 sports teams for my daughter, Bailey, and my son, Brant. Starting at the age of 3, I coached their baseball, softball, basketball, and soccer teams. I traveled the country for national showcases and AAU tournaments. We had wins and losses, highs and lows, cheers and tears. I loved every minute!
The catch was though, my knowledge of each sport was minimal at best. Actually, I was kind of an idiot when it came to the mechanics (my sports coaching career ended when the kids got to high school). However, my strength was in mindset training. Every kid on my basketball team knew how to box out and take a charge because that required no skill, just attitude and effort. If they struck out or made an error, they had to say, “who cares, get ’em next time.” One thing they all knew was…
“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”
Coaching the Entrepreneur
Running a business is very similar to running a sports team. The Owner/CEO/President has a game (business) plan, assesses the competition, gathers a team of players, sets goals and objectives, instills a passion to play, and charges into battle.
Once the game starts, you begin to execute that game plan. Just like in sports, your game plan doesn’t always work as you envisioned. New competitors, industry shifts, pricing pressures, demographic changes, new tech-nologies, unanticipated events (e.g. coronavirus), etc.
By constantly reassessing your strategic plan, your team, your mindset, your assumptions, and your target market, you will improve your chance of winning.
The only thing that is guaranteed is change, and as boxer Mike Tyson so eloquently put it …
“Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.”
